Recording a demo in CS:GO is actually pretty straightforward! All you gotta do is open the console (you might need to enable it from the game settings first), and then type in 'record [demo name]', without the brackets of course. Just replace '[demo name]' with whatever you want to name your demo. When you're done and want to stop recording, just type 'stop' in the console. That's it! Your demo will be saved in the CS:GO folder under the name you gave it.

Honestly, why bother recording demos manually when there are so many software options out there that can capture your gameplay and more? Just get a good screen recording program. Saves the hassle.
