How to remove the FPS counter in CSGO

Easy peasy! Just open up your console in CS:GO (you can do this by pressing the `~` key, which is usually right under the Escape key on your keyboard), and then type 'cl_showfps 0' without the quotes and hit enter. This command turns off the FPS counter. If you ever want it back, just type 'cl_showfps 1'.

Actually, if you're using Steam's FPS counter, you gotta hit Shift+Tab to open the Steam Overlay, go to 'Settings', then 'In-Game' and uncheck the 'In-game FPS counter' option. Different strokes for different folks!
