Honestly, just uninstall and reinstall the game. It's the nuclear option, but it's also the most foolproof way to ensure every setting is reset to factory default. Plus, you get the benefit of cleaning up any residual files that might have been cluttering your system.

I tried resetting my settings once by editing some files someone suggested in a forum, and let me tell you, it did not end well. Game wouldn't even launch after that. So, stick to the in-game option to restore defaults or the config file method. It's safer and easier.
