Honestly, just set it and forget it. As long as you're not messing with files outside the game or using mods that tweak settings, CS:GO saves your video settings automatically when you close the game normally.

You gotta make sure you're exiting the game the right way. Don't just ALT+F4 or crash your game. Adjust your settings, maybe play a round to make sure they're taking effect, and then exit through the menu. It autosaves your settings this way.

To save your video settings in CS:GO, simply adjust your settings as you prefer, then exit the game properly through the game menu. CS:GO automatically saves these settings when you exit the game correctly. No need to look for a 'save' button, it's all done for you!

Pro tip: If you're constantly switching between computers or setups, consider creating an autoexec.cfg file with your preferred settings. This way, you can easily apply your settings by running this file. While CS:GO generally saves your settings, this is a foolproof way to ensure your settings are exactly how you want them, especially if you're tweaking advanced settings not available in the menu.
