Tried to sell my high-end apartment for a downgrade and some extra cash. Turns out, you can only trade it in for a new place. Got a nice discount on a new spot by the beach, though. It's not exactly selling, but it's something.

You can't directly sell an apartment in GTA V, but you can trade it in when buying a new one. Just head to the real estate website on your in-game phone, select the property you wanna buy, and you'll get an option to trade in your old place. The value of your old apartment will be deducted from the price of the new one. Easy peasy!
