Getting 1280x960 in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. Just right-click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to properties, then set launch options. Type in '-w 1280 -h 960' without the quotes and hit ok. Next time you launch the game, it'll be in glorious 1280x960!

Honestly, just play with whatever resolution you're comfortable with. I tried 1280x960 because everyone said it was 'the pro resolution,' but went back to my native res. Game's meant to be fun, not squinty.

I've been playing on 1280x960 for years now, and it's a game changer, literally. Going to your Steam library, finding CS:GO, and adding '-w 1280 -h 960' in the launch options does the trick. Makes everything look bigger and easier to hit, IMO.
