If you're looking to cap your framerate in CS:GO, another method is through your GPU's control panel. For NVIDIA users, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Manage 3D settings', then 'Program Settings', find CS:GO in the list, and set the 'Max Frame Rate' to your desired cap. AMD users can find a similar setting in the Radeon Settings under 'Gaming', 'Global Settings'.

Why cap your FPS, though? Letting it run uncapped can actually reduce input lag, giving you a slight edge in those clutch moments. Just food for thought!

You can easily cap your FPS in CS:GO with a simple console command! Just hit the `~` key to open the console (you might need to enable it first in the game settings), and then type `fps_max [number]` where `[number]` is the max FPS you want. For example, `fps_max 60` will cap your FPS at 60. Remember, setting it to 0 removes the cap entirely, letting your FPS run wild.
