How to Stop Lag Spikes in CS:GO

First off, gotta say, it's super annoying when you're lining up that perfect AWP shot and bam, lag spike. Been there, done that. What worked for me was checking my internet speed and making sure it's stable. If you're on WiFi, try switching to a wired connection. Also, lowering your in-game graphics settings can help reduce the load on your system. Don't forget to update your drivers, especially your graphics card. Sometimes the oldest tricks do the trick!

Honestly, just get better internet. Lag spikes are usually because of a bad connection. If your net's slow, no amount of tweaking settings will fix the lag.

Lower your graphics settings, folks. Seriously, it's not all about having the game look pretty if you can't actually play without teleporting back and forth like you're Doctor Strange. Lower settings = smoother gameplay.

Try closing background apps that you're not using. Stuff like browsers or other games can hog your resources and cause lag. Worked wonders for me!
