Nvidia settings for the win! Did this a while back, makes spotting enemies way easier. Just follow the steps, and you'll notice the difference immediately. Enemies look wider, and I swear headshots feel easier to land. Plus, it gives the game a totally different look. Just my two cents, but stretching your res might just be the tweak your gameplay needs.
