Switching abilities in Pokemon Violet isn't as straightforward as pressing a button. However, you can change a Pokemon's ability using an Ability Capsule, which lets you switch between a Pokemon's standard abilities. For hidden abilities, though, you'll need an Ability Patch. Honestly, I've been playing Pokemon Violet, and swapping abilities feels more like a chore than something fun. Found the Ability Capsule after hours of gameplay, and it's pretty limited in use. Wish there was an easier way.
