Getting rid of those pesky black bars in CS:GO is pretty simple, actually! Just go into your graphics card settings. For NVIDIA users, right-click on your desktop, select NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Adjust desktop size and position', and check the 'Full-screen' option under scaling. If you're on AMD, right-click on your desktop, select AMD Radeon Settings, head to 'Display' and enable 'GPU Scaling' to 'Full Panel'. Boom, no more black bars!

Belive it or not, black bars might actually help you focus better on the game by reducing your field of vision to just the important bits. Not a fix, but maybe give it a try before changing settings?

Just set your game resolution to match your monitor's native resolution in CS:GO settings. It's the easiest way without messing with graphics card settings. Works like a charm!
