Finding a Ditto in Pokémon Violet can be a sneaky endeavor since they love to disguise themselves as other Pokémon! An easy giveaway though: look for tiny differences from the normal appearance of the Pokémon it's impersonating. Also, Ditto tends to transform into Pokémon that are common in the area you're in. So, if something seems off about that Rookidee you've seen a dozen times before, it might just be a Ditto in disguise!

Honestly, sometimes it's just luck. I ran into one when I wasn’t even looking. It disguised as a Pawmi in my case. Keep an eye out for anything that looks slightly off.
