Trading up your CS:GO skins is actually straightforward! Firstly, you need 10 skins of the same grade (weapon quality). These can be Mil-Spec (blue), Restricted (purple), or any other grade you're aiming to upgrade from. Open your CS:GO inventory, right-click on one of the skins you want to trade up, and select 'Trade Up Contract'. Then, just add in the nine other skins, sign the virtual contract, and voila! You'll receive one random skin of the next highest grade. Remember, the skin you receive is pulled from the collections of the skins you traded in, so plan your trade-ups wisely to target the skins you want.

I did a trade up once with all my blue skins hoping for something fancy, and ended up with a skin that was actually worth more than all the ones I traded in combined! It's a bit of a gamble, but it can definitely pay off if you're lucky.

Hot take: Just buy the skin you want. Trading up is a gamble and you're more likely to end up disappointed than with the skin of your dreams.
