How to turn off FPS counter in CS:GO

Turning off your FPS counter in CS:GO is super easy! Just open the console with the `~` key (make sure you’ve enabled the console in the game settings first), and type `cl_showfps 0`, then hit enter. This command stops the FPS counter from showing up on your screen. If you've got it running through Steam's in-game overlay, you can also turn it off by hitting Shift+Tab to bring up the overlay, navigating to 'Settings' > 'In-Game' and unchecking the 'In-game FPS counter' option. Happy gaming!

Personally, I'd keep the FPS counter on; it's a good way to see how your game's running. But hey, to each their own!

Just type `cl_showfps 0` in the console. Easy peasy.

If you're using an external program like FRAPS, don’t forget you'll have to disable the FPS display in that app's settings instead of in CS:GO.
