Honestly, just set 'fps_max 0' and forget about it. Some say there's no difference after a certain point, but who doesn't want to see their machine flex its muscles?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Just open your console in-game (enable it from the game settings if you haven't yet) and type 'fps_max 0'. This command removes the FPS cap, letting your game run as smooth as butter at the highest FPS your system can handle. If your rig is a beast, you'll see those sweet, sweet high numbers. But, if you're just looking to boost it a bit, try 'fps_max 300' or any number that suits your fancy.

I've been playing CS:GO for years and always use 'fps_max 999'. It basically gives you unlimited FPS, but without throwing a zero in there. Feels more intentional, you know? Plus, seeing those numbers spike is half the fun of tuning your PC.
