Nope, CS2 isn't necessarily harder to run than CSGO. Valve did a pretty good job optimizing the new engine, so if your rig could handle CSGO smoothly, it should chug along just fine with CS2. Actually, from my experience, CS2 feels a bit smoother than CSGO. It seems like they've polished the engine to run more efficiently on a wider range of hardware. So, if anything, you might even see an improvement!

Hard disagree with everyone saying it's not more demanding. New game, new engine updates, it's bound to need more juice. Don't expect to run CS2 on high settings if CSGO was barely running on your setup.
