Not really, no. While both Pokemon Scarlet and Legends Arceus bring fresh takes to the Pokemon universe, they're quite different in gameplay and structure. Pokemon Scarlet, along with Violet, introduces a fully open world for the first time in the series, with a huge emphasis on exploration across the Paldea region. Legends Arceus, on the other hand, is more focused on catching mechanics and has a set of distinct, large areas rather than a seamless open world. So, if you're looking for a direct continuation of the Legends Arceus style, Scarlet and Violet might not be it, but they offer their own unique adventures!

Totally different games, IMO. Legends Arceus was cool with its historical setting and all, but Scarlet takes the cake with its open-world exploration. Plus, you can't beat riding around on a legendary Pokemon like Koraidon in Scarlet or Miraidon in Violet. Just saying.
