Hard pass. I played through Fallout 4 without it and had a blast. Sure, there were a couple of hiccups here and there, but nothing game-breaking. Made the wasteland feel more authentic, if you ask me.

100% yes. Speaking from experience, this patch saves you from a lot of frustrations. Before I installed it, my game crashed like it was its job. After the patch, it was like playing a whole new, stable game. Can't recommend it enough.
