Are any Hot Wheels made of only plastic?

Well, technically no, Hot Wheels are mostly diecast metal with some plastic parts (like wheels or interior). That being said, there are a few models with a larger proportion of plastic, especially in the body, but they always mix in some metal for weight and that classic Hot Wheels vroom. So, purely plastic? Not really the case.

I've been collecting Hot Wheels for years and I've yet to come across one that's 100% plastic. They're all about that diecast life, with some plastic details. The metal part is what makes 'em Hot Wheels in the first place.

I disagree with the notion that Hot Wheels could be all plastic; even the ones that seem mostly plastic have some metal to keep 'em grounded in that classic Hot Wheels tradition. It's about the weight and the feel. Pure plastic wouldn't give the same satisfaction when you race 'em down a track.
