Honestly, it's all about preference. Both do the job, but pickaxes tend to have more utility. For example, some of the endgame pickaxes have bonuses that drills lack. So, if you're all about efficiency, stick to pickaxes.

Drills because they're cool. I mean, come on, who doesn't want to power through the earth with a high-speed drill? They might be noisy, but it's a small price for feeling like a boss.

Pickaxes, no contest. They have better modifiers, which can significantly impact your gameplay. Plus, they just feel right, y'know?

Pickaxes all the way! They're not just for mining; they also serve as decent weapons in a pinch. Plus, the sound of a pickaxe is way less grating than a drill. And let's not forget, some of the best tools in the game are pickaxes, offering you speed and efficiency that drills just can't match.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
