They're decent, but some players prefer traditional weapons. It's all about personal preference and playstyle.
I love Kitguns! My Tombfinger/Splat combo melts enemies. Just make sure to experiment with different chambers and grips.
Kitguns are good if you like customization. I built a Gaze/Ramble and it shreds Corpus like paper. Just invest in the right mods!
Honestly, I'm not a fan. I stick to my trusty Soma Prime.
