Depends what you mean by 'better'! If we're talking power, Stage 1s usually have higher HP and stronger attacks than Basics. But don't forget, you can't play a Stage 1 without first having its Basic on the field. So Basics are essential, and some have really useful abilities too. Plus, Stage 1 cards require an extra step to get into play, which can slow you down. Both have their strategic importance!

From personal battle scars, Stage 1 cards can be game-changers because of their beefed-up attacks and HP. But, I've also seen Basic cards with the right support cards take down an entire deck. Both have their place in a winning strategy.

Nah, Basics rule. Some of the strongest decks out there rely heavily on powerful Basic Pok茅mon. Don't underestimate them!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
