Swirls? Rare? More like a cool little Easter egg courtesy of the printing process. They're not exactly the holy grail but getting one with a swirl does make your card stand out. Doesn't add much to the value for some collectors, but others might pay extra for that swirl aesthetic.

Absolutely, swirls on Pokemon cards are kinda like finding a four-leaf clover in a field of three-leafers. They're not something you'll see on every card, but when you do, it's a delightful little bonus for collectors. These swirl patterns occur during the holofoil printing process and aren't found on every holo card, making them a sought-after quirk for many in the Pokemon TCG community. So, yeah, they're rare and definitely add a unique touch to any card they grace!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
