Yep, there are penalties for ditching a match in Apex Legends. If you're playing in a ranked match and decide to bail on your squad, you get hit with a time-out penalty, meaning you can't jump into another match for a while. The penalty time increases if you do it repeatedly. So, stick with your squad, or you'll be sitting on the sidelines!

Actually, it's not always a big deal. If you're in a casual match and need to bail, there's no penalty. Life happens! But remember, in ranked, it's a different story. Don't leave your team hanging, or you'll face the time-out corner.

Honestly, leaving matches ruins the game for others. Stick it out with your squad! Not only does bailing in ranked play earn you a time-out, but it's also just bad sportsmanship. Play fair, stay in the game!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
