Nope, they're not exactly the same. Xbox One games can be played on Xbox Series X thanks to backward compatibility, but the Series X also has exclusive titles that take full advantage of its next-gen power.

The games aren't the same, but many Xbox One games work on the Series X with better graphics and performance. Some exclusive Series X games won't run on the One.

I have both consoles. While most of my Xbox One games run on my Series X, the Series X-exclusive games don't work on my old Xbox One.
