Absolutely not the best idea. Terraria is awesome, but playing it on a Chromebook through Linux feels like using a hammer to slice bread. Technically possible, but why would you?

Short answer: Yes, but... It's kinda like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. You can do it with some effort, like enabling Linux on your Chromebook and getting Steam up and running. Not the smoothest experience, but where there's a will, there's a way!

Yeah, you can play Terraria on a Chromebook, but it's not as straightforward as on other platforms. You gotta use the Linux (Beta) feature on your Chromebook to install Steam and then download Terraria from there. Just make sure your Chromebook meets the game's system requirements and has enough storage!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
