Yep! Just hold the reload button (typically R or X) while not aiming. Your character will holster their weapon.

You can't put weapons away in The Outer Worlds. Just kidding, hold the reload button while not aiming!

On Xbox or PlayStation, hold the Y or Triangle button to stow your weapon. Makes for a friendlier Halcyon!

Trust me, pressing the reload button (without aiming) will do the trick. Your screen will look much cleaner!
