In most cases, you can return an unscratched Xbox Live card to Walmart if you have the receipt and it’s within the return period. Just make sure you didn’t scratch it, or it’s a no-go!

Yup, take it to customer service with your receipt and you should be fine, as long as it's within their return window.

From personal experience, I returned one last month without any issues. Just be sure you have that receipt and the card is in perfect condition!
