Nah, you can't transfer your character backwards from PS5 to PS4. Rockstar made it so you can move your progress up (like from PS4 to PS5) to enjoy the enhanced features, but not the other way around. It’s like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, just doesn’t work!

Nope. Once you level up to PS5, there's no turning back to PS4 with the same GTA character. It's a one-way street, my friend.

Actually tried this a while back 'cause I wanted to join my buddy on PS4 for some GTA mayhem. Learnt the hard way that it's a no-go. Your best bet is to start a new character or stick to the PS5.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
