When I tried to transfer my Xbox Live, I found out it's not possible. So, I ended up getting a new subscription for my other account.

Nope! Once it's on one account, it stays there. No transfers allowed.

Unfortunately, Xbox Live subscriptions can't be transferred directly to another account. You'd have to cancel the subscription on one account and start a new one on the other.

Direct transfer of Xbox Live between accounts isn't a feature. You'll need to manage separate subscriptions for each account.
