Nope, NPCs can't climb ropes in Terraria. They're pretty much stuck to walking on solid ground or platforms. If you're trying to get them to a higher place, you'll need to build them a proper path with platforms or stairs.

Actually, NPCs can't climb ropes, but fun fact: they can teleport to safety or their homes when off-screen! So, if they're stuck somewhere and you walk far enough away, they might just zap to where they're supposed to be.

No, they just stand there. NPCs in Terraria don't have the ability to climb ropes or ladders. They're ground-lovers through and through.

Just to throw my two cents in: NPCs not climbing ropes is a missed opportunity. Imagine having a guide swinging around like Tarzan!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
