So, this is a bit of a nuanced question since Haki in One Piece isn't exactly something you 'see' in the traditional sense. Haki is more about sensing or feeling the presence and strength of others. Observation Haki lets characters sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, and even predict their moves. So they don't 'see' it with their eyes, but more 'perceive' it with their minds. Armament Haki is different, as it is usually visible to the audience and characters, with a distinct black coloring when fully applied.

Nope, they can't 'see' it. Haki's more about sensing or feeling. Think of it like Spidey senses.

Actually, in the case of Armament Haki, it does become visible when someone applies it to their body or weapons. It turns black, indicating its use. So, in a way, yes, characters can see this type of Haki. The Observation and Conqueror鈥檚 types of Haki, though, are about sensing and imposing will, not visible phenomena.
