Absolutely, but make sure you’re both on the same version of FIFA 23. If you’re playing on Series X with enhanced graphics, that won't sync up with Xbox One.

Yes! Xbox Series X and Xbox One players can play FIFA 23 together if they both use the Xbox One version of the game. Cross-gen compatibility FTW!

From my experience, yes, as long as both consoles are running the Xbox One version of FIFA 23. My friends on Xbox One and I on Series X play all the time!
