Nope, can't have the EXACT same name. The tag part makes every name unique. So, even if you share a display name, your tag differentiates you. No clones allowed, haha!

Actually, in Valorant, you can have the same display name as someone else, but there's a catch! Each player has a unique tagline (a series of numbers or letters) that appears after their name. So, you might meet another 'ShadowHunter,' but their tagline will make them unique, like 'ShadowHunter#EU1' and you could be 'ShadowHunter#NA1'. It鈥檚 all about that combo of name and tagline!

Been there, tried that. My buddy and I thought we'd be clever and have the same in-game name. Turns out, Valorant's system is ahead of us. We ended up with identical names but different tags. So yes, but actually no. You're kinda unique but not really.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
