Yes, you lose your stuff when you die, but it's recoverable. Just make sure to equip a spare set of gear for the retrieval mission!

Yes, you drop all your gear upon death. Sometimes it's almost a quest in itself just to get it back! I've had to do some crazy dodging to avoid a second death.

Yes, you can totally lose your stuff in Valheim! When you die, you drop everything in your inventory right where you fell. But don't worry, you can go back and pick it up - if you can survive getting there!
