Nope, GTA 4 ain't on PS5. No official support or love for that classic on the new console. Sad times for Liberty City fans.

Actually managed to play GTA 4 on my PS5 through some backward compatibility magic! It's not ideal and takes a bit of effort, but where there's a will, there's a way. Felt like a tech wizard by the end of it. ?✨

Officially, GTA 4 isn't available on the PS5 as a direct port or through the PlayStation Store. BUT, there's always a workaround with backward compatibility for PS3 games if you're willing to jump through a few hoops. So, if you've got a PS3 disc lying around and a little patience, you might get lucky! Just remember, it's not as straightforward as popping in a PS5 game.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
