Hot take: Why would you wanna split screen Stardew Valley online anyway? Part of the fun is having your own screen to manage your farm without squinting at a shared screen. Just get together on Discord or something.

Nope, you can't play Stardew Valley in split screen online. Stardew's multiplayer is online, but each player needs their own device and copy of the game. So, if you wanna farm with friends, everyone's gotta have their own setup.

Actually, while you can't play split-screen online, playing Stardew Valley with friends is still a blast. My buddies and I each play on our laptops while hanging out on voice chat. It's not the same as split-screen, but it's super fun to visit each other's farms and help out.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
