Nope, Apex Legends is strictly a three-player squad game. You can't play duos as the default mode, but they do occasionally offer limited-time events where you can play in a duo or other formats. So, keep an eye on those events if you're really into playing with just one buddy!

Actually, Apex often has a Duos mode available! It's not always on, depending on the season or event, but you can definitely enjoy the game with just one friend at those times. Just check the game mode options whenever you log in.

Here鈥檚 a hot take: Duos should be a permanent option in Apex. The limited-time events are cool and all, but why not let players decide how they want to play the game?

Short answer: Not really. Apex is a team game built around trios. But duos? Only sometimes, in special events.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
