Nope, save yourself the headache. Valorant's anti-cheat system doesn't like the Steam Deck. Better play it safe on PC.

Technically, yes, you can play Valorant on a Steam Deck, but it's not straightforward. Valorant requires Windows and its anti-cheat system, Vanguard, to run, which means you'll need to install Windows on your Steam Deck first. After that, you'll need to carefully manage the anti-cheat software since it's pretty strict and might not play nice with the Steam Deck's hardware right out of the box. So, while possible, it might take some tech tinkering to get it working smoothly.

I got Valorant to work on my Steam Deck! The trick was installing Windows and tweaking a few settings. Took some effort, but playing Valorant on the go is pretty awesome.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
