Technically, it's possible to run Valorant on a virtual machine (VM), but it's not really viable. Riot Games has a strong anti-cheat system called Vanguard that kicks in the moment you boot up the game. Vanguard is designed to stop cheaters by preventing the game from running on systems it can't fully monitor, like VMs. So, while you might get Valorant to start on a VM, the chances are you'll get booted or even banned. It's a high-risk move and not worth trying if you value your account.

Running Valorant on a VM? Good luck, you'll need it. Tried once, Vanguard shut me down faster than I could say 'Spike planted'. Stick to a real PC if you wanna keep your account.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
