Nope, there's no traditional saving mid-run in The Binding of Isaac. It's a rogue-like, so when you die, you start over from scratch. Better make every move count!
As someone who's spent way too much time in Isaac's basement, I can say the lack of saving mid-run really ups the adrenaline. Just go with the flow!
