Yep, Funimation did indeed redub One Piece, starting from the beginning to replace the previous dub by 4Kids Entertainment. They started this project back in 2007 to give fans a more faithful adaptation of the original Japanese version. Plus, they picked up where 4Kids left off, so we got the best of both worlds—new episodes and a redo of the old ones.

Absolutely! Funimation took over and blessed us with a redub that's closer to the original's heart. They even kept going to give us those juicy new episodes. A real MVP move if you ask me.

Nah, the original dub is iconic. Why mess with perfection?

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
