Yup, there are actually a few real Pokemon cards out there without Pokedex numbers. These are usually special promotional cards, or sometimes certain Trainer cards and Energy cards don't carry a Pokedex number because, well, they're not actual Pokemon. So if you stumble upon one, it's not a fake, it's just special!

Honestly, it's pretty rare. Most real Pokemon cards do have a Pokedex number. But yeah, exceptions exist for certain non-Pokemon and special editions. Always double-check for authenticity though!

Totally, some real Pokemon cards skip the Pokedex number. Mainly because not all cards are of Pokemon themselves - think Trainer cards, Energy cards, or those cool promos you sometimes get. No Pokedex number? No problem!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
