Absolutely! Keep those boxes safe and sound if you're looking at resale value. Opened Funko Pops can lose a chunk of their value since collectors often want them in mint condition, box and all. It's like the unwritten rule of the Funko world: the box is half the treasure!

Hot take: Open it! Enjoy your Funko Pop how you want. Sure, it *might* lose some value, but unless you're sitting on a super rare variant, the difference isn't going to fund your retirement. Life's too short to keep toys in boxes.

From experience, opening a Funko Pop does affect its value, but it really depends on which Pop it is. Limited edition or exclusive Funko Pops? Keep 'em boxed. Common ones you bought because you love the character? Free them! I opened a few of mine and don't regret it, but I keep the special ones sealed.

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
