Nah, you don't need friends to dive into Apex Legends. While it's a squad-based game, it's got a super handy matchmaking system that'll team you up with other players. So, even if your friends list is as empty as my fridge, you can still enjoy the game and maybe make some new friends along the way!

Short answer: No. Solo players rejoice! Apex has matchmaking, so you can easily play with others without having to rope your friends into it. But, fair warning, communication with randos can sometimes be like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded.

Absolutely not. I've been playing Apex Legends solo since it dropped. The matchmaking does its thing, and before you know it, you're part of a squad. Sometimes you meet cool people, sometimes not, but it's all part of the adventure.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
