Honestly, not everyone loves Root A. It deviates quite a bit from the manga, which can be confusing. If you're a purist, maybe just stick to the original series and Tokyo Ghoul:re instead.

If you're a fan of the original Tokyo Ghoul series, I'd say give Root A a shot! It gives more depth to the characters and adds some unique twists. But if you're short on time and just want the main story, you could skip it and read the manga for the complete experience.

Nah, you don't have to watch it. It's kind of like a side quest in a video game. Cool if you have the time, but not essential.

Root A has some pretty epic fights and emotional moments. As a Tokyo Ghoul fan, I found it worthwhile. Plus, more Kaneki is always a good thing, right?

If you're a Tokyo Ghoul fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
