Nah, you don't need Gold to play Apex Legends since it's a free-to-play game. However, if you're on Xbox, you might need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online with friends. PlayStation and PC gamers don't have this requirement, so they can jump straight into the action without any extra cost.

Nope, Apex Legends is free! But, Xbox users need Xbox Live Gold for online multiplayer. Everyone else, just download and play.

The whole "needing Gold" thing is mainly an Xbox issue. PlayStation and PC players can dive into Apex Legends without worrying about subscriptions.

Honestly, you just need a decent internet connection and you're good to go. Apex Legends itself won't cost you a dime.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
