Not really, but it's a fun spin-off! If you enjoy the main series, you'll probably like the action and characters in Gun Gale Online (GGO).

You don't *need* to watch GGO, but it adds some variety to the Sword Art Online universe. Worth checking out if you're a fan!

Gun Gale is not essential for the main story, but it's pretty cool if you love snipers and PvP action! Plus, LLENN is a badass!

If you can't get enough of Sword Art Online, Gun Gale is a nice bonus! Not critical to the main plot, tho.

Nah, you can skip it. It鈥檚 a different vibe from the main series and doesn't impact the core storyline.

If you're a Sword Art Online fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
