Actually, they don't despawn, but I kinda wish they would. Had one land smack on my beautiful garden. Took ages to clear.

Nope, meteorites in Terraria don't just pack up and leave when you're not looking. They land and stay put until you mine them or remove them some other way. If you're hoping for a meteorite to magically disappear because it landed in your favorite NPC's backyard... well, you're gonna have to get your hands dirty and mine it out yourself.

They stay forever. Time to mine!

Meteorites definitely do not despawn. Once they crash down, they're there to stay. It's actually a good thing because you get to mine Meteorite ore, which is super useful for crafting some of the best early to mid-game gear. So, grab your pickaxe and happy mining!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
