You only need PlayStation Plus if you want to play MLB The Show online against other players. Offline modes don't require it!

PS Plus is only necessary for online features in MLB The Show. Offline modes will still work fine without it.

Yes, for online play you need PlayStation Plus鈥攐therwise, it's just solo games and local multiplayer for you.

If you're not into online multiplayer, then nope! You can enjoy MLB The Show without PS Plus.
